Former Powell resident Dorothy Lowrey Fleming Lofland died Wednesday, Nov. 29 in Loveland Calif., at the age of 86.

She was born May 28, 1914, in O'Neil, Neb., to Delbert and Zoe Anderson.

In Powell, she worked for Funke's Cleaners and School District No. 1. She was a past president of the Eagles Auxiliary.

Survivors include two daughters, Joan Liversmore of Tracy, Calif., and Marcia Moore of Phoenix, Ariz. six grandchildren, Linda Jensen in Utah, Pat and Vick Gilmore in California, Karen Beemer in Cody, Nancy Mynderse in California and Philip Moore in Cody; 19 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Donnie Fleming, in 1956; her husband, Eugene Fleming in 1964; and her second husband, Jack Lofland in 1998.
