(Dec. 1, 1929 - Aug. 22, 2009)Donald Edward Kremer, 79, died Aug. 22 in Tacoma, Wash.He was born Dec. 1, 1929, in Billings, the son of Clarabelle and William Kremer.Don graduated from Cody High School in 1948. He served four years in the Air Force during the Korean War with the 15th Radio Signal Group. He attended Central Washington State College and received his BA in education in 1958 and his master's degree in 1961. He completed graduate studies at the University of Washington. Donald married Leta Kremer, and two daughters, Kim and Kellie, were born to the union. He was a teacher, coach, administrator and principal in the following Washington school districts: Walla Walla, Ferndale, Franklin Pierce, Bremerton, Clover Park and Steilacoom.He is survived by his wife, Leta; daughters Kim Scafturon and Kellie Oydna; brothers Lyle and Bill Kremer; sister Sally Ruzick; grandchildren Ryan Case (Amanda), Benjamin Oydna, Megan Johnson, Ethan Oydna and Olivia Oydna; and a great-grandson, Weston Case.No public funeral services are planned. Interment will be in Tacoma National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital.
