The local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet Saturday, Sept. 12, at the 8th Street at the Ivy’s banquet room in Cody. The meeting takes place from 10 a.m. to noon.
The DAR business meeting will install the new officers. After the meeting, the winners of the local and state American history essay contests, William and Emmalee Nordland, will read their compositions to the chapter members.
Emmalee also won the Northwest Division competition. The chapter will honor them with certificates and other awards.
