A Thursday program at the Bighorn Canyon Visitor Center in Lovell will cover the Crazy Mountains’ importance to the Crow Tribe.
Beginning at 6:30 p.m., Crow Tribal Historic Preservation Officer Adrian Bird Jr., volunteer Johnny Tim Yellowtail and Shane Doyle — a member of the Crow Tribe who holds a doctorate in curriculum and instruction — will make presentations. Those will be followed by a panel discussion on the mountains, which lie within the Gallatin and Lewis and Clark national forests in Montana.
