The Gallagher’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch in Clark will officially open for the season on Friday, remaining open on weekends through Oct. 27.
This year, the Gallagher family has constructed a 10-acre corn maze, along with a smaller hay bale maze for younger children. They also offer hayrides, a self-pick pumpkin patch and hay bale slide.
Admission for adults is $8, $6 for kids and children ages 2 and under are free. The admission fee covers all activities, excluding the pumpkin patch and concessions.
On Fridays and Sundays, the corn maze and pumpkin patch is open from 1 p.m. to dark, while the facility is open from 11 a.m. to dark on Saturdays.
Last fall held some issues for the Gallagher family, with grizzly bears roaming their 300-acre ranch, causing the temporary closure of the maze and patch. They installed an electric fence to deter the bears and to ensure the safety of visitors.
To reach the Gallaghers’ farm, turn onto Road 1AB (heading north near the Edelweiss bar) from Wyo. Highway 120 and follow the signs.
