Concrete work progressed faster than anticipated last week on the Wyoming Department of Transportation project on U.S. Highway 14A on the west side of town, as all concrete was completed from Mountain View Street to Cheyenne Street and the first half of the new Albertson's approach by the end of the day Friday, according to WYDOT Resident Engineer Todd Frost's most recent report.
The one lane closure on the north side of the street is being moved from Division Street up to Mountain View Street as the concrete reaches strength on Division Street and the business approaches at the Taco Bus, the old Napa and Gottsche.
The lane closure is being extended from Albertsons to Fremont Motors for concrete replacement in that area.
The speed limit through the lane closure remains 25 mph.
