With the arrival of sunnier days and warmer weather, Powell Valley Care Center will be hosting a parade next week. Members of the community are being invited to drive by the center. The event begins at 2 p.m. Wednesday, and residents “would love to get outside and see a parade of our family and friends,” the care center staff wrote in a Facebook post.
To maintain social distancing, parade participants will not be able to closely interact with care center residents, but will be able to see them from afar.
