The monthly commodities distribution scheduled for this Saturday morning has been postponed, since the truck won't be coming in until next week. The distribution has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 25, at the American Legion Hall, 143 S Clark St. in Powell. Groceries will be distributed from 9-11 a.m.
Food is available for low-income residents and folks in need from Cody to Powell to Lovell and those places in between.
Public entry is through the front door only; do not park in the back lot. Residents are asked to park in front, then come in the front door of the Legion to sign in and get their pick-up slip.
For the safety of the public and staff, only four people will be entering the building at a time. Residents are asked to only have one family member come into the building to sign in and remember to maintain social distancing if waiting in line to enter. After signing in, folks will be directed to drive around to the back parking lot to pick up the groceries.
