The Cody City Council is looking for community members who are interested in serving on three of the city’s volunteer boards.
From now through Friday, Oct. 30, Cody officials are accepting applications for six available positions on the city’s planning and zoning board, contractors board and the Yellowstone Regional Airport board.
The airport board, which oversees the Cody airport, has one available position while the planning and zoning board has two positions up for appointment; the planning board reviews many of Cody’s new developments, ranging from subdivisions to downtown signage.
The contractors board is charged with licensing contractors to work in city limits; it has three positions coming up for appointments, with a licensed general contractor and a licensed HVAC contractor needed to fill two of those roles.
Anyone interested in applying for a board position can download a form online at tinyurl.com/3463w373, call Cody City Hall at 307-527-7511, email tgail@codywy.gov or visit City Hall at 1338 Rumsey Ave.
