The City of Cody’s recycling center will temporarily shut its doors to the public for roughly two weeks, while it undergoes annual maintenance, repairs and inventory.
From Feb. 19 through March 8, recyclables will not be accepted at the Cody center (located at 531 15th St.) or at the drop-off trailers that are normally stationed at Walmart and Bomgaars.
The Powell Valley Recycling Center — located at 946 Road 10 — remains open. The center receives materials from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. It’s also open the first and third Saturdays of each month, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
