During the execution of a court-authorized search warrant Tuesday on the 2200 block of Sheridan Avenue, Cody police investigators reported seizing approximately 61 grams of suspected methamphetamine, more than 14 grams of suspected liquid controlled substance, and approximately 0.1 grams of suspected fentanyl, along with evidence consistent with the distribution and use of controlled substances.
According to a Facebook post, investigators also recovered two illegally possessed firearm suppressors and two stolen firearms.
This operation, the department said, highlights the importance of collaboration between local and state law enforcement agencies in identifying and disrupting the distribution of dangerous controlled substances within the community.
The operation was the result of an ongoing investigation conducted by Cody Police Department Detectives, in partnership with special agents from the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation’s Northwest Enforcement Team.
The investigation remains active, and additional charges are anticipated as investigators continue processing evidence and conducting follow-up investigative work.
