The Cody Chamber Music Society presents Baroque Music Montana in “Montana Vespers Part II.” The candlelight concert features four early-music singers and four instrumentalists, who aim to refresh and soothe the soul in a program of Catholic and Anglican 17th-century sacred music. The concert is Sunday, Oct. 25 at 4 p.m., at the Simpson Gallagher Gallery, 1161 Sheridan Avenue, Cody. Tickets are $30 for adults and $5 for students, and can be purchased at tickettailor.com/events/bamm. A post-concert reception to meet the musicians is included.
The musicians perform with chamber ensembles and as soloists with symphonies and at music festivals all over the country and internationally. They are Clara Rottsolk, soprano; Chelsea Lyons, mezzo-soprano; Steven Soph, tenor; Jonathan Woody, bass; Carrie Krause and Maureen Murchie, baroque violins; Matt Zucker, baroque cello; and John Lenti, theorbo.
