On Friday evening, the Cody Region of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department will host a virtual question and answer session about the proposed 2021 hunting seasons and general regulation changes. This 6 p.m. session will be hosted over Zoom, with no in-person meetings held.
Recorded presentations from local biologists with detailed explanations of the season proposals will be available by Thursday at wgfd.wyo.gov/Get-Involved/Public-Meetings.
“Please review the recorded presentation(s) for the hunt areas and species you’re interested in and come ready with your questions before joining the virtual question and answer session,” Game and Fish officials ask.
No formal presentation will be given during Friday’s session, which will solely be an opportunity to ask questions related to 2021 hunting season proposals and visit with regional Game and Fish personnel. Zoom attendees will be invited to ask questions via the chat function.
To register for the Zoom Q&A, visit www.bit.ly/3sfJApm. A recording of the session will be posted online for those who cannot attend.
Additionally, to visit with wardens or biologists about seasons prior to Friday’s session, call the Cody Regional Office at 307-527-7125.
Comments made during the Q&A will not be presented to the Game and Fish Commission, as comments must be submitted in writing and received online or by mail by 5 p.m. April 2.
To attend a Q&A session for a different part of the state, see the full list of sessions at www.bit.ly/3caxvw2.
