The Cody Country Art League will offer several educational classes over the coming month.
On Saturday, instructor Tiffani Jackson will introduce Art Labs for Kids! Kids will rotate through a variety of fun and inspiring “art stations,” exploring different mediums and techniques, while cultivating creativity. Kids currently in kindergarten to second grade will be in the morning session from 9 a.m. to noon; third to fifth graders will be from 1-4 p.m. The cost is $35. All materials are provided.
Then on Sunday, from 1-3 p.m., Suzie Warner will teach a class on painting with alcohol inks. The cost is $35.
Next weekend, on Saturday, May 1, Melody Christensen will teach a class on “More Watercolor Techniques.” The cost is $75.
Instructor Paul Kethley will also lead a class on Saturday, May 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on simplifying your composition. The cost is $95.
All classes will be held in the Cody Country Art League classroom, located at 836 Sheridan Ave.
Discounts are availble for members of the league.
