Hundreds of Clark residents and who knows how many others on nearby vantage sites discovered the wizard of “ahhs” as they were treated to a July 4 fireworks show.
The nearly hour-long display of sparkling, colorful pyrotechnics delighted onlookers on Nate Hoffert's Flying N Ranch. Resident Debbi Crews raised funding for the illuminating program. Youth and adults alike cheered, applauded and honked their motor vehicle horns throughout the presentation.
Hoffert, a longtime Clark Fire Department volunteer firefighter who serves as chief, ensured safety for the display. Numerous fellow volunteers were on-scene to direct traffic, monitor their alarm frequency and were ready to provide aid. After the final burst of night sky illumination, many viewers could be heard shouting, “Way to go, Clark!”
