Powell High School senior Chase Partridge was one of 12 players to be named a 3A all-state selection. The Wyoming Coaches’ Association released its selection list midday Wednesday.
Partridge played a key role in helping the Panthers to a 22-6 season and consolation title at the 2012 state basketball tournament. He finished the year with school records in scoring average and single-season points scored. He finished his Panther career just 10 points shy of the school’s career scoring record.
Partridge was one of seven members of the 3A West conference to receive all-state recognition. Other players selected to the list included: Jason McManamen, Torrington; Ryan Madsen, Wheatland; Mitch Weigel, Newcastle; Aaron Fenner and Kalob Rodriguez, Buffalo; Brady Gulde, Cody; Tanner Simpson and Lucas Watkins, Lander; Cisco Taylor, Lyman; and Kohl Battleson and Ridge Hillyard, Star Valley.
The Panthers were shut out of the girls’ 3A all-state roster.
