(March 25, 1922 - July 6, 2001) Graveside services will be conducted today (Tuesday) at 10 a.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery for Powell resident Catherine Elizabeth Owens, 79, who died Friday evening, July 6 at the Powell Nursing Home.She was born March 25, 1922, to Elbert and G. Maud (Duncan) Owens in Powell. She attended Powell schools and was graduated from Powell High School.She worked as a secretary for Oil Field Supply Co. until her retirement.Survivors include a sister, Maxine Rockhold, of Green River; nieces and nephews, Alayne Jones and husband Alan and Jim Coorough and wife Theresa, both of Powell, Clifford Rockhold and wife Jackie of Green River, Sharon Harrison and husband Dale of Albuquerque, N.M., and Linda Black and husband Kent of Houston, Texas. The Rev. David Hunter will officiate at graveside services, with arrangements by Miratsky-Easton Funeral Home.
