The Sons of the American Legion is holding its second annual Casino Night fundraiser Saturday, March 29 at 7 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 143 S. Clark St., in Powell. There will be a $10 per person door charge and all entrants must be 21 or older.
There will be Texas Hold 'Em, blackjack and roulette, as well as silent auction items and various raffles and other games available.
For $25, you can purchase $500 in chips for game play. At the end of the night the top three chip winners will be awarded cash prizes. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.
Last year Casino Night raised enough money to extend the concrete walkways and commodities delivery area in the parking lot. This also provided a clean and level surface for wheelchair unloading. This year, all funds raised will be used to make further enhancements to some interior areas that are not ADA compliant.
