Carole Kay Allen went to be with her Lord on June 21, 2026 in Powell Valley Long Term Care.
She was born on Dec. 16, 1943 to Harland and Lydia Troudt in Windsor, Colorado. At a young age the family moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming, where she graduated from East High School in 1962.
She met and fell in love love with Gary Allen in Cheyenne where they were married on Feb. 18, 1964. Gary and Carole had three sons, Michael, Jonathan and Scott. The family moved often with Gary’s career making many memories and friends along the way.
In their early years as a family, they came to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and walked closely with him. In each town along the way, they found good church families where they worshipped and served well. Carole served in many areas including Awana, nursery, children’s church and Good News Clubs.
Carole was close to many in her latest church family, Grace Point. She attended many Bible studies and enjoyed her friends immensely.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents, Harland and Lydia Troudt, her husband Gary Allen, and her son Michael Allen (Trenda). She is survived by her sons Jonathan Allen (Mary), and Scott Allen (Leslie), 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, July 10 at 11 a.m. at Grace Point Church in Powell.
