Carol Joan Borron, 77, died April 3, 2009 at Powell Valley Healthcare.
She was born August 14, 1931, to Arthur and Grace (Chambers) Haney in Elwood, Neb. She married Robert Borron and the couple lived in Powell.
Carol enjoyed her membership in the Episcopal Church. She attended one year of college and worked for the public library as a librarian.
She is survived by her children Jeff Borron (Lee), Tom Borron (Connie), Tim Borron (Cindy) and Linda Thorp (Robert), five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Services were held at St. John’s Episcopal Church on April 6, with Pastor Ron Lytle officiating.
