Betty June Cline, 65, died suddenly at her home in the Pryors near Bridger, Mont., on March 30.
She was born May 19, 1938 in Sheridan, Mo.
Her parents were Everett and Doris Miller of Maryville, Mo. After graduating from high school in Pickering, Mo., in 1956, she attended Gard Business School in St. Joseph, Mo., for two years. She then worked at the Robey Insurance Agency of Maryville as a secretary.
On April 2, 1951, she married her high school sweetheart, Gary Cline in Pickering.
She enjoyed playing basketball in her youth, playing all four years of high school. After her marriage, she continued to play on the town team. She won several trophies for playing basketball and later won a couple of bowling trophies. She loved to play cards, doing cross stitch and crocheting.
She also enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors taking care of her flowers and hummingbirds.
She was a "natural" grandma. Whether they were actually hers or not, she could handle just about any child. She enjoyed her family and friends and was a giving and loving person. She was greatly loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband Gary Cline of the family home; children Christina (Ed) Denney of Clark, Mark (Patty) Cline of Frannie, brother Jim (Sharon) Miller of Sheridan, Mo.; sisters Judy (George) Knapple of Wichita, Kan., Joyce Brown of Albany, Mo., Janet (Rod) Shell of Savannah, Mo.; grandchildren Adam Denney, Dustin Stemmen and Brittany Stemmen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Bennett Creek Church in Clark. Interment was in in Bennet Creek Cemetery.
