Barton Blane Newberry, 55, of Hutchinson, Kansas, died Nov. 2, 2015, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 14, 1960, in Wellington, Kansas, to Bennie Allen Newberry and Virginia Sturgis Newberry.
He graduated from Argonia Kansas High School, moved to Hutchinson, and worked for Consolidated Manufacturing for a number of years before starting his own mechanic shop, Performance Automotive.
Survivors include his former wife Christy Zimmerman and their sons Brandon and Bo Newberry of Hutchinson; siblings Cindy (Allan) Childs of Powell, Pam (Wayne) Petrik of Derby, Kansas, Brad Newberry and Lisa (Lonnie) Dale of Hutchinson; nieces, nephews, and special friend Trudy Haynes.
A memorial service was held Nov. 14 in Hutchinson with the graveside service at the Argonia Cemetery Nov. 16.
