It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Audrey Faye (Mayer) Buchli, who departed this world on June 9, 2025. Audrey was a beacon of kindness, strength and inspiration, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be etched in the hearts of those she touched.

Born on Sept. 22, 1946 to Myrtle (Bader) and David A. Mayer in Powell, Wyoming, Audrey lived a life full of purpose and passion. She was known for her remarkable dedication to her family, friends and community, which served as a testament to her generous spirit. Whether it was through acts of service, words of encouragement, or a simple smile, she had a way of making everyone around her feel valued and loved.

Audrey worked with children during her career. She started out at Children's Resource Center then went on to Head Start and in 1984 she went onto work at Northwest College day care for 19 years, where her contributions were instrumental in shaping the lives of many. She worked at the Powell Senior Center as a driver, delivered meals and often could be found helping out in the kitchen. Through her work, she displayed a relentless commitment to excellence and an unwavering belief in the potential of others.

Audrey's achievements serve as a poignant reminder of what can be accomplished with determination and heart.

Audrey had a passion for flowers, gardening, cooking and baking, being with family and friends especially her grandchildren, wherein she found joy and fulfillment. She relished the beauty of life's simple pleasures, such as making her goodie baskets full of sweet treats especially at Christmastime and took every opportunity to share those moments with loved ones.

Audrey is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ken Buchli; her daughter and her husband Amy and Brad Frye, of Powell; her grandchildren Jennifer Mauch of Woodward, Oklahoma, and Christopher Greever of Powell; great-grandchildren Carson Mauch and Mariah Mauch of Deaver and Addison and Phoebe Ray of Woodward, Oklahoma, and her two friends Pat Pease and Janice Frye of Powell, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, who will carry forward the essence of her love and values. Though her absence leaves an irreplaceable void, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who remain behind.

Audrey was preceded in death by her father, mother, eight sisters and one brother.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.

In this time of sorrow, let us also celebrate the incredible life of Audrey, whose presence enriched the lives of so many. May her legacy continue to shine through the stories, lessons, and memories she left us.
