The Meeteetse Museums has announced evening hours for the juried show, “Art of the Basin: An Artistic Rendering.” From 5–7 p.m. this Thursday, Friday and Saturday — and again on Friday, Dec. 4 — visitors can enjoy the free art show.

Juried by Karen McWhorter, curator of the Whitney Western Art Museum, and noted sculptor Vic Payne, the show celebrates the rich artistic heritage of northwestern Wyoming and the Big Horn Basin.

Artists with works in the show include Paul Kethley, Graham Snow, Ronda McLean, Larry Edgar, Karen McBride, Joe Thomas, Diana Scranton and Rhonda Schmeltzer.

Kethley took first place with his work, “Encampment at Ramshorn,” with second place awarded to “Crossing the Divide” by Larry Edgar and third place won by “Wyoming’s Flower” by Rhonda Schmeltzer.

Some artists are selling their work at the show, though the purchased artwork must remain in the show until Dec. 5.
