Applications are now being sought for members of a joint powers board to oversee the potential state shooting complex to be built south of Cody if it is approved by the Legislature.
The board will oversee the development, operation and maintenance of the complex.
The Joint Powers Board will consist of nine members: six individuals appointed by the Park County Commission and three by the City of Cody Council. The City of Cody and Park County are now accepting applications for the Wyoming State Shooting Complex Joint Powers Board until Monday, Dec. 23 at 5 p.m.
Applications for county appointments may be requested by emailing Kelly Carson at kelly.carson@parkcounty-wy.gov or by visiting the County Commissioners’ Office in the Park County Courthouse at 1002 Sheridan Avenue Cody, WY 82414.
Applications for city appointments may also be obtained by visiting Cody City Hall lcoated at 1338 Rumsey Ave, Cody, WY 82414 and may be delivered in person at City Hall or mailed to the following address: Attn: Cindy Baker, City of Cody, PO Box 2200, Cody, WY 82414
