Word has been received here of the death Aug. 9 in Fernley, Nev., of Anna Elizabeth (Betty) Dugger, 85, who died at her daughter’s home.
She was born June 16, 1921, in Greenfield, Ill., to Claude and Flossie Nash. She married Gil Dugger on Dec. 26, 1941, in Norfolk, Va., during World War II. Betty and Gil owned and operated Dugger Electronics in Powell for 17 years.
They lived their retirement in Colorado Springs, Colo. She moved to Fernley, Nev., when her husband died.
Betty will be remembered for her love of children, the memorable Christmas Eves for the entire family in her home and her love for everyone she dealt with. Her entire married life she spent as a homemaker and helpmate.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Aspinall of Fernley; granddaughter Becki Driskel of Las Vegas, Nev.; grandson, Robert Montgomery and granddaughter, Barbi Montgomery, both of Alaska; and great-grandchildren, Tiffany Montgomery, Benjamin and Cheyenne Wade.
A family gathering will be held later with burial of cremains at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Colorado Springs.
