The American Legion Auxiliary will host its annual cherry pie luncheon on Friday. The event raises money for Girls State and Veterans Affairs.
Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Powell American Legion Hall. Door prizes will be awarded.
The meal includes ham, chicken or tuna casserole, salad, a roll, pie and coffee or tea. The cost is $9, and carry-out meals are available for $9.50. To place a take-out order, call 307-250-6060.
