(April 10, 1950 – Oct. 4, 2010)Alice Katherine Heath Bird died after a valiant fight with cancer on Oct. 4, 2010, at the West Park Long Term Care Center in Cody. She was 60.
Alice was born April 10, 1950 in Lovell.
Katherine is survived by her daughter, Christy; and grandchildren Toni and Anthony of Billings; parents, Ralph Lever and Lora May Heath of Burlington; three brothers, Clyde (Kay) of Murray, Utah, Nolan (Cori) of Eagle River, Alaska, and Andrew (Victoria) of Provo, Utah; three sisters, Roberta Bushman of Rainier, Wash., Sarah (Dick) Parker of Sulphur, La., and Nancy (Scott) Bennett of Bozeman, Mont.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Katherine was preceded in death by one sister, Naomi, who died at 16 months of age from pneumonia.
Katherine will be missed as everyone called her friend. Her biggest love in life was her grandchildren, followed by her love of arts and crafts and her joy of helping people.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Oct. 9 at the Burlington LDS Church. Burial was in the Otto Cemetery.
Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell was in charge of arrangements.
