The 43rd annual 4x4 Art Exhibit and Sale opens at Northwest College on Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 7-8:30 p.m., providing visitors an opportunity to purchase gifts or stocking stuffers in time for the holidays. The exhibit runs through Dec. 12 and is being held in the Northwest Gallery inside the Cabre Building. Light refreshments will be served at the opening.
The popular sale offers art aficionados the opportunity to peruse the diminutive artworks created by NWC faculty, staff and students. Works submitted for the mixed-media show can be no larger than 16 square inches in two-dimensional form, or 64 cubic inches in three-dimensional form. Prices for all pieces are set at either $12, $16 or $20 each.
Artwork may be purchased at the opening event and throughout the exhibition timeline (Dec. 3-12). The art will remain on display through Dec. 12, and may be picked up on Friday, Dec. 13. Cash, check or cards are accepted, but no advance or online sales are available.
