The Powell Pioneers' season came to an end Monday with a 2-1 loss to the Idaho champions at the Northwest Class A Regional Tournament.
Powell finished the tournament 2-2, one win away from potentially reaching the championship series.
The Pioneers scored the game's first run in the top of the first against the CDA Lumbermen on a double by Cade Queen to score Brock Johnson, who had singled and stole second.
The Lumbermen scored two in the third inning against Dalton Worstell to take the lead, including what would end up being the winning run as neither team scored the rest of the way.
Johnson finished with three hits to lead the Pioneers.
