Another year on the course came to a close on Oct. 17 for the Good Old Boys, ending the year with a game of X-cept eighteen.
In this game, four man teams use one net ball on holes 1-9, two net balls on holes 10-17 and three net balls on hole No. 18.
Three teams tied for first place with a 100 in the final event of the year, ending the season with a chip-off to determine first and second place.
Winning the chip-off was the team of Gerry Johns, Rhett Wolff, Buddy Rae and Lloyd Snyder. Runner-up was the team of Bob Mason, Paul Devoss, Ray Nelson along with a blind draw of Johns.
Third place went to Ed Swistak, Dennis McCollum, Jim Tobin and Clark Jeffs.
Rounding out the team scores with a 104 was the group of Steve Burtoft, Tom Bibbey, Marc Saylor and a blind draw of Rae.
Two deuces were recorded, one by Nelson on hole No. 4 and Rae on hole No. 17.
The low net went to Devoss with a 66 and Jeffs had the low gross with an 83.
