Luke Morgan Scott Jr., “JR”, passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving parents on Oct. 23, 2011 at Denver Children’s Hospital in Aurora, Colo.
JR was born on Oct. 5, 2011, to Luke and Summer Scott. Luke, Summer and big sister McKenna waited six long years with joyful anticipation for his arrival.
During JR’s brief stay on earth, he faced a relentless battle for his life. Every breath, every heartbeat, every moment, JR struggled to remain here with his family. Embraced by deep, enduring love, JR spent his time in the caring arms of his parents, Papa Larry, Aunt Mindy and sister McKenna. He fought so valiantly to allow his family to hold him in their arms for a little while and treasure him in their hearts forever.
JR was preceded in death his grandmother, Lorene K. Noble, great-grandparents Clarke and Thelma Allen, Lloyd Scott, Hattie and Leo Noble and Rosemary Wyckoff.
JR is survived by his parents Luke and Summer Scott, sister McKenna, grandparents Ken and Mary Allen, Larry Scott, Shawna Scott, great-grandparents Anneke Scott, Ken Wyckoff, a special aunt, Mindy Hurd, cousin, Sabra Coles, and many other beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
A private family service has already been held. Interment took place at Crown Hill Cemetary.
