Alice Marie Langdon died Nov. 28. She was born in Baraboo, Wis., on April 28, 1927.
Alice and her late husband, Wayne Roy Langdon, lived in Billings early in their marriage. While in Billings, they enjoyed stock car races and rodeos.
Alice also loved horses and worked with them for many years while living in Billings.
Alice and Wayne moved to Ralston in 1950.
Together, they raised two sons, Robert and Douglas, and five daughters, Sharon, DiAnne, Vicki, June and Ginger.
Alice worked at the Ralston Bar for 17 years, and she was well known for her delicious cheeseburgers. She later tended bar in the Powell-Cody area for many years until she moved to Byron. She then worked in Lovell, in the kitchen of the Big Horn Restaurant, until she retired in 1991. Alice liked to sew, and she loved going to yard sales to see what treasures she could find. She enjoyed working with flowers and working at the greenhouse for Sandy Cannon. Playing poker machines was another one of her favorite pastimes.
Alice is survived by her sons, Robert (Sally) Langdon and Douglas Langdon, both of Powell; four daughters, DiAnne (Ron) Miller of Powell, Vickie (Rodney) Wesselman of Lewiston, Mont., June (John) Wilson of Puyallup, Wash., and Ginger Langdon of Powell; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by her friend and companion of 20 years, Charles Scheeler.
Her husband Wayne, daughter Sharon and grandson JoeBob preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at the Powell LDS church on Avenue E on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
