Frank R. Thiel Frank R. Thiel, 70, of Glenwood, Minn., died Tuesday, Dec. 27, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Cancer Home in St. Paul, Minn., surrounded by family and friends.

He was born Nov. 4, 1935, in Worland to Fred and Molly (Piel) Thiel. He grew up and spent many years in Worland and was honorably discharged from the Air Force in January 1957, after serving four years.

After living the majority of his life in Wyoming, Frank moved to Portland, Ore., and then later to Glenwood, Minn., to be closer to his children. Frank (aka Chester), was always eager to help, and his love, generosity and patience will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother and brother Wayne.

He is survived by his daughters, Rachael (Trevor) Thomas, of South St. Paul, Minn., and Kathie (Scott) McKay of Hawley, Minn; and sons, Frank (Denise) Schweighart of Cumby, Texas, and Fred Schweighart of Cherry Valley, Ark. He was also blessed with many grandchildren Ñ Melissa and Zachary McKay and Abigail, Timothy, Daniel, Micah and Asher Thomas, who enjoyed the company of their grandpa very much. He is also survived by his sister, Betty (Lloyd) Dahnke of Boulder, Colo.; and brothers, Dave (Betty) Thiel of Casper, Tom (Lounell) Thiel of Worland and Mike (Marlene) Thiel of Powell Private services and burial of cremains will be in Worland at a later date.
