Memorial services will be conducted Friday, Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church for Wanda Colleen Ryles Meidinger, 73, who died Tuesday, Nov. 11 at St. Vincent Healthcare Center in Billings, Mont.

She was born July 22, 1930, on the Ora E. Bever farm in Garland to Thomas L. and Nancy Beulah (Hodges) Ryles. She was educated in the Powell schools and graduated from the University of Wyoming. She married Norman C. Meidinger on Aug. 21, 1948, in Billings. She was a Powell businesswoman, owning and operating Nan Deen Dress Shop from 1962-1977. She was dedicated to assisting the Girl Scouts Troops of Powell and received the "Thank You Badge" for her many years of service. She also received a 30-year pin.

Survivors include her husband Norman of the family home; daughters Nancy Swartz and husband R.J. of Brighton, Colo., and Dineen Mueller and husband Terry of Shell; a brother, Joyce Ryles and wife Betty of Billings; grandchildren Stacy Toler, Troy Toler and Carla Swartz, all of Brighton, Colo.; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Her parents and a brother, Thomas L. Ryles, Jr., preceded her in death.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial in Crown Hill Cemetery will follow the memorial service.

For those who wish, the family requests that memorials might be made to the Wyoming Girl Scout Council Scholarship Fund, 501 N. Sun Drive, Casper, WY 82609 in her memory.
