Funeral Mass for Mary Ann Revill, 79, of Williston North Dakota was held at 11 AM Monday, October 4, 2010 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Father Dennis Schafer officiated and interment followed at Riverview Cemetery in Williston. A Rosary Service was held at 5 PM Sunday Afternoon at the Church.

Mary Ann Revill was born in Williston, North Dakota on October 24th, 1930 to John and Anna (Poeckes) Neubauer. She was raised in Zahl, North Dakota where she attended school, played on the basketball team, participated in musicals and was involved in many school activities. She loved dancing and playing the piano, especially Jazz, and played with the Hollen's Dance Band.

Following high school graduation, Mary Ann attended Williston College. At that time, classes were held in the old Central School. Places of her employment included First National Bank of Williston, Northwestern Bell, Triangle Electric and Amerada Hess.

In October of 1953 she was united in marriage to Orlie Hillestad of Alamo, North Dakota at Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church in Hanks, North Dakota. They had one son, Kevin. Her husband, Orlie, died January 30th, 1961.

In June of 1967 Mary Ann was united in marriage to Joseph Revill in Williston, North Dakota. They moved to Odessa, Texas where their son, Joel, was born. Later they moved to Glenrock, Wyoming and then to Powell, Wyoming where they lived for 20 years. Her husband, Joseph, died November 12th, 1988.

Six years later, after struggling with Parkinson's disease, Mary Ann moved back to Williston, North Dakota to be closer to her sisters Agnes Monger, Kathleen Smith and Deanna Edwards and brother, Tom Neubauer, as well as other family and longtime friends.

Mary Ann was a loving mother, and a devoted wife and sister. She was an outstanding homemaker and loved entertaining family and friends.

Music was always a part of her life. She played in bands, sang in choirs and music groups and played the piano throughout her life. She also enjoyed playing bridge, was a member of P.E.O. and was actively involved in her church. Later in life, she stayed busy making beautiful greeting cards for her family and friends.

Mary Ann died Friday morning, October 1, 2010 at the Mercy Medical Center in Williston, ND.

Survivors include two sons, Kevin Hillestad and wife, Johanna of Bryan, Texas; son Joel Revill and wife Kristin of Tiburon, California; step-daughter Susan Revill-Icenhower and husband Jeff of Keller, Texas; step-son Steven Revill of Byron, Wyoming; five grandchildren, Ryan Hillestad, Matthew Hillestad, Kristin Hillestad, Anna Revill, and Samuel Revill; brother Tom Neubauer and wife Grace of Williston, North Dakota; sisters Kathleen Smith of Williston, North Dakota, Deanna Edwards and husband, Allen of Ray, North Dakota; as well as several nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Orlie Hillestad and Joseph Revill; parents John and Anna Neubauer; sister Agnes Monger and husband, John; brother-in-law Ronald Smith; and nephew Dan Neubauer.
