Judy Bovee

Judith Carol Bovee died peacefully in her sleep Sept. 21, 2014, at her home in Golden Valley, Ariz. She was 72.

Judy was born Judith Carol Redich in Ottowa, Ill., on Dec. 14 , 1941. She was one of two daughters of Alice Tittle Redlich. Judy’s life was all about family. She wanted a large family and she had five children of her own and four stepchildren. She married Varnard Wintermote in 1954 and they later divorced.

In 1975, Judy married the love of her life, Carrol Bovee. They were married for 39 years and ran two businesses, C&J Precast and Bovee Agency (real estate), where she enjoyed being a broker.

Judy lived many places in her life including Powell, Casper and Golden Valley, Ariz. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her pictures of them were among her prized possessions.

Carrol and Judy moved to Arizona to enjoy their golden years, but did not like being away from family.

She is survived by her husband Carrol; children Vince Wintermote of Riverton, Katherine (Jim) Bughman of Casper, Vernon (Kelly) Wintermote of California, Lisa Wintermote of Casper and Reed Wintermote (fiancee Kim) of Powell; four stepchildren Dan (Sheri) Bovee, Deb (Jay) Kaseman, Beth (Jim) Pierre and Lauri Bovee; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Judy requested her ashes be spread on Casper Mountain. A quiet family service will be held at that time.
