Terry Lee Holland, 73, of Cody, died Aug. 20, 2012 after a long battle with cancer.

He was born to Julia (Claar) and William Holland in Altoona, Pa. He was the youngest of 12 children.

He joined his father at a young age in opening Holland Brothers Meat Co., which still is owned and operated by the Holland family. Terry moved to Cody in 1974 and went to work in the oil fields. He went to trucking school in 1996 and worked for Dick Jones Trucking.

Terry loved the mountains and spent lots of time horn hunting, trapping, fishing, and hunting.

Terry is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughters Brenda Holland and Terry Lynn Holland of Duncansville, Pa.; stepsons Keith (Toni) Wells, Allen (Lucy) Wells, Jay (Cat) Wells, and Kyle Wells; granddaughter Shaina Moose; grandson Allen Chamberlin; great-grandchildren Michael, Christian, and Alana; sisters Doris (Jack) Grimm, Linda Helsel, Eleanor (Myron) Weland; brothers Lou (Shirley) Holland, Bill (Mary Ellen) Holland, Dennis (Evelyn) Holland; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Grace Baptist Church in Cody on Thursday, Aug. 23 at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Ben Bogardus is officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
