Veterans assistance available in Big Horn Basin

A state of Wyoming veterans service officer from the Wyoming Veterans Commission will conduct community outreach services around the Big Horn Basin in March.

Tami Hartnett is available to meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veterans’ benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs claims, or VA healthcare. Hartnett can also help veterans and their families apply for benefits, file claims, or request healthcare.

Her office is located at 1026 Blackburn Ave., Suite 1, in Cody, and she will be at the Cody VA Clinic, 1432 Rumsey Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today (Tuesday).

Harnett will also visit the North Big Horn Senior Citizens Center, 757 Great Western Ave. in Lovell, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, March 9.

On Friday, March 20, she’ll stop by the South Big Horn Senior Citizens Center in Greybull, 417 S. 2nd, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Finally, on Thursday, March 26, Harnett will be available at the Worland Community Complex Center, 1200 Culbertson Ave. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
