NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PATRIOT SUBDIVISION VARIANCE REQUEST
On Tuesday August 3, 2021 at 10:30 a.m., the Park County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing to consider the Variance Request of Jim Nicholson regarding the Patriot Subdivision. Mr. Nicholson requests a variance from the 100 ft. lot frontage minimum as stated in the Park County 2015 Development Standards & Regulations in Chapter 3, Section 8. Lots 6 and 7 of Patriot Subdivision are situated on a 90-degree curve in the roadway that has the same characteristics of a cul-de-sac; therefore, it is requested that the 35 ft. frontage required for a cul-de-sac be applied to these lots. The proposed subdivision is located approximately 3/4 mile west of Powell, south of Lane 9 on the east side of County Road 11, in the SW/4NW/4 Lot 64, T55N, R99W of the 6th P.M., Park County, Wyoming, in a General Rural Powell (GR-P) zoning district.
The hearing will be held in the Commissioners Meeting Room #105 in the Original Courthouse, 1002 Sheridan Ave., Cody, WY. Anyone wishing to comment on this matter is encouraged to attend or submit comments to the Planning & Zoning Department, 1002 Sheridan Ave., Suite #109, Cody, WY 82414 or planning@parkcounty.us.
