CODY — As replacement of the Rock Creek siphon gets underway Oct. 1, the Bureau of Land Management will maintain public access to the Twin Creek Trail southwest of Cody. Signage will direct recreationists to a short, temporary reroute at the trailhead. The Lakeview Irrigation District will shut down water to the canal to allow for the construction as well as access across the canal to the trail.
BLM urges people to stay alert and avoid heavy equipment working in the area.
