Our beloved father, brother, uncle and friend has gone to be with his Heavenly Father and love of his life, Enid.

Tom passed peaceful in the hospital in Billings, Montana, on Jan. 22, 2021, with family at his side. He was 86 years old. He was born the oldest child of Robert and Hazel Sanderson on Jan. 8, 1935, in Olean, New York.

Tom was a man of service. He served his Heavenly Father, family, country (Korea and three tours in Vietnam), church in numerous callings, friends, neighbors and strangers in need. Tom was a man of great faith and few words, and he rarely stressed about things not in his control. He exemplified his savior, Jesus Christ, in all his actions and words.

After traveling the world while serving our country, Tom and Enid settled in Deaver in 1980. Tom and Enid created an eternal family through adoption.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Enid Brimhall Sanderson and his son, James Sanderson.

Tom is survived by his children Dirk Sanderson (Chrisy), Molly Kaiser (Kent) of Wyoming, Bob Sanderson (Kristina) of Michigan, and Roberta Blosser of West Virginia, brother Phillip Sanderson of Holly Hill, Florida, brother-in-law Les (Arlene) Brimhall of Wyoming, sister-in-law Vivian Brimhall-Fales of Montana, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one recent great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021, 11 a.m., at the Cowley LDS Chapel. Interment immediately following at the Deaver Cemetery. In lieu of flowers ... be someone to be kind to today, in memory of Tom.
