Thank you to those who voted for the 2% lodging tax. The tax passed in every precinct with a 68% positive vote overall.
The citizens of Park County clearly support tourism. With this mandate, our legislators should actively support tourism initiatives as they serve in Cheyenne. As the outgoing chairman of the Wyoming House of Representatives Travel, Recreation, Wildlife and Cultural Resources committee, I am calling on our legislators, Reps. Rachel Rodriguez-Williams, Nina Webber, Paul Hoeft, Dalton Banks, John Winter, and Sens. Tim French, Dan Laursen and Ed Cooper, to listen to their constituents and support tourism legislation.
