Support women in Wyoming races

Dear Editor:

Humanity desperately needs TLC. That will happen when women lead.

Increasingly, we find ourselves wrestling with our own lawmakers! We seek people-centered government, so we must send more outstanding women to legislatures!

Once, the top priority of elected officials was to satisfy their constituents and safeguard their civil and human rights. Those were statesmen, committed to strengthening the people.

Business used to be about invention, innovation and integrity, driven by “find a need and fill it,” “build a better mousetrap” and “give the people what THEY want,” remember?

Now it appears the tiny percentage of “never-have-enoughs” who endanger our lives, health, liberty, security and pursuit of happiness are indifferent to the majority. They are far too willing to sacrifice our wellbeing to their greed — be it selfish political power or extreme financial gain.

Monopolies, like Facebook and Amazon, don’t compare to the DOD! War is not what it used to be — one man running his sword through another. Now it’s waged on civilians, millions of us. Women would “turn down the heat” on warfare. We must take the lead in altering rules of engagement.

Stand up and flex your political muscle! Encourage mothers, daughters, sisters. wives, experienced or not, to summon the courage to run. Then, support those who would fight for better governing and true equality, like Britney Wallesch SD6, Jackie Grimes SD10, Stefanie Bell SD18, Theresa Livingston SD20, Linda Weeks SD20, Camilla Hicks HD6, Marcie Kindred HD8, Jennifer Burns HD10, Amy Spieker HD11, Katrina Cox HD14, Jacquelin Wells HD15, Lynne Huskinson HD32, Rebecca Fields HD41, Jean Garrison HD45, Karlee Provenza HD45, Roxie Hensley HD45, Julie McCallister HD47, Dee Garrison HD47, Joy Bell HD49, Jane Ifland HD57 and Leah Juarez HD59.

Send our experienced women warriors back to work. Affie Ellis SD8, Sue Wilson HD7, Cathy Connolly HD13, JoAnn Dayton-Selman HD17, Sandy Newsome HD24, Andi Clifford HD33 and Sara Burlingame HD44.

For U.S. Senate, choose Merav Ben-David, Yana Ludwig, Donna Rice or Star Roselli. For House, Lynette Grey Bull or Carol Hafner.

VOTE! Ask the county clerk for a mail-in ballot. Betcha that’ll make you feel good!
