With Christmas Day less than a month away, Santa Claus will fly into Powell on Friday morning to meet with kids and hear their holiday requests.
Santa is slated to arrive via helicopter between 9:45-10 a.m. at the municipal parking lot on North Clark Street, across from Larsen’s Bicycles.
From there, kids can join Old Saint Nick at The Commons in downtown Powell for Santa’s Workshop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Children can make a variety of Christmas-themed crafts at the free workshop.
The Powell Rotary Club is hosting Santa’s Workshop in partnership with the Park County Travel Council.
Country Christmas festivities continue the following week, with a variety of events slated for Dec. 6-8.
