Rural Wyoming needs to say, ‘No more!’

Dear Editor:

A blind man can see the approaching storm. Our government has pitted Blacks against Whites, hidden away our proud history and removed God from practically everything we cherish. Rural Americans would never have done so.

Our national leaders have given away our energy independence and forced higher prices on all Americans. By defunding the police and not prosecuting crimes our cities have become dysfunctional and dangerous. Rural leaders are much smarter.

Because of greedy corporations and high tax rates, nearly all our manufacturing is now done in China or elsewhere. We are facing serious supply problems and soon possibly no supplies at all. Why should we pay our taxes anyway? Our leaders tell us that deficits don’t matter. We now owe $29 trillion, so why not $58 trillion? Just keep printing all that fiat money! Rural people know better, however.

Past policies of the Forest Service have killed our forests and given us about five months per year of fire and smoke. This has brought on global warming. China and India are equal contributors. When those three are brought under control then we can do our part. If rural folks were in charge, finger pointing would be in the proper direction.

Our leaders lie to us when it fits their narrative and fill their greedy pockets with bars of gold. After we elect them they switch to their own agenda. Liz Cheney is a good example. Sen. John Barrasso obviously has a ring in his nose that is tied to Mitch McConnell’s right rear pocket. Gov. Mark Gordon has done some good things but he needs to raise holy hell with Washington, D.C. We should all pray that he finds the strength to do so. Cynthia Lummis has courage! We need good rural folks to lead the charge.

Our present leaders are not capable of guiding us through the maze we now face. We haven’t even touched on rumors of war, open borders, COVID, or fentanyl. The turn around, if one is to happen, has to begin in a rural state. Reform can possibly come from the top in states like Texas, Florida or South Dakota, but in Wyoming it needs to come from a rural community.

If we continue to do nothing about changing the present course of our country then we can only blame ourselves when the crap hits the fan! Rural citizens are better than this! We say NO MORE!
