Ronald Parrino, 72, of Powell, received his wings at his home on March 26, 2020.

He was born in Pontiac, Michigan, on Feb. 17, 1948, born one of four children, to Anthony Parrino and Esther Baker. Ron’s childhood was in Michigan.

Ron taught business in South Dakota, Idaho and Mackinaw Island, Michigan. He went to college at Michigan State University and Montana State University. He then taught special education in Byron, Wyoming, many years. He was a talented special education teacher.

Ron met his companion, Pauline Wambeke, 30 years ago when they both taught special education. They married in 2018.

Ron enjoyed history, birds, sports, westerns, poker, fishing and traveling.

Ron is survived by his sister Pam Bradley and brother Gary and his son Vincent.

Due to the current COVID-19, there will be a short graveside service at the Deaver cemetery at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, with people 6 feet apart, please. Reception will be at Melvyn Wambeke’s home, 306 Road 2 North near Frannie. Ron will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
