Leaders of the Wyoming Republican Party are traveling to Washington, D.C. to meet with President Donald Trump and other top-level officials. Party Chairman Frank Eathorne, National Committeewoman Marti Halverson and National Committeeman Corey Steinmetz, along with his wife, State Sen. Cheri Steinmetz, are traveling to the capitol in early December after receiving an invitation to the President’s Christmas Reception.
While in D.C., the leaders will meet with members of Wyoming’s delegation and several officials in the Trump administration to discuss issues affecting Wyoming. Additionally, they’re scheduled to meet with the Bureau of Reclamation and Department of Interior about a canal tunnel collapse which created an emergency situation in Goshen County this summer.
Party officials are also personally delivering Christmas greetings to Trump and Vice President Mike Pence. Wyoming residents can send along their own Christmas greetings and “word of encouragement” for the president by visiting www.wyoming.gop/christmascards.
