Plaza Diane’s annual Renaissance Fair returns Saturday with live music, food, fun activities, vendors and more. The arts festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Plaza Diane Community Center for the Arts, located in the heart of downtown Powell.
A variety of food trucks will be at the fair, with beer from WYOld West Brewing Company available. Musicians will perform on the plaza’s outdoor stage.
The fair features fun for the whole family. Kids’ activities include maypole dancing, archery, painting and a chance to put a friend or family member in stocks and toss water balloons at them.
Attendees can also watch pottery and glass-blowing demonstrations.
Costumes are encouraged, but optional.
“You can come in your regular clothes and have a great time,” organizers said.
Plaza Diane’s Annual Invitational Show is on display in the gallery. The show will conclude with People’s Choice voting during the fair. For more information, visit www.plazadiane.org.
