Steven M. Shopa made the Liberty University Law School’s Dean’s List for being in the top 15% of his class in the spring semester. He’s currently ranked No. 12 in his class at the school, which is located in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Shopa got his bachelor’s degree at 19 and immediately went into law school; he expects to graduate before he turns 22.
Shopa’s family moved to Powell when he was a freshman in high school. He was homeschooled but played on the Powell High School soccer team.
“I am thankful to God for blessing me with my gifts and talents to be able to thrive in law school,” Shopa said, “and that I am especially thankful to my parents for nurturing those gifts and talents while I was a homeschooler.”
